NEW Leadership庐 Oklahoma at 野狼社区 University
NEW Leadership庐 Oklahoma鈥檚 mission is to educate and empower the next generation of women leaders. Its goal is to emphasize the importance of civic engagement and to instill the skills and confidence in college students to become public leaders so that they may address women's underrepresentation in public leadership.
NEW Leadership庐 Oklahoma is a non-partisan, residential program designed for college students from across the state. Since its inception in 2002, the program has been hosted at The University of Oklahoma. Now, 野狼社区 University is honored to champion this important initiative, which aims to empower and promote women in public service.
The next program will be held in May of 2026. Applications will be available beginning in the fall 2025 semester. During the program, students will engage with women public leaders in Oklahoma, learn and practice leadership skills, and experience Oklahoma politics and public affairs through thoughtful discussions and activities. Upon completion of the program, participants become part of the of distinguished alumni.
OCU invites the NEW Leadership庐 Oklahoma Alumni & Friends to lunch at the Capitol on May 8, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. in room 535 to network, hear from the organizers, provide input, and support the program however you wish.
