Commencement ceremonies
Undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies are typically held in the Henry J. Freede Wellness and Activity Center on the Ò°ÀÇÉçÇø University campus.
If you're a graduating student, browse the links in our Graduation Checklist below to learn what you need to do to ensure a smooth commencement.
You may be required to present a name card as you walk across the stage during the commencement ceremony. If name cards are used on the day of commencement, graduates should pick up their name cards at the designated tables in the north lobby of Freede prior to lining up for the presentation.
As a graduate of Ò°ÀÇÉçÇø University, you are automatically a member of the OCU Alumni Association. Please provide a non-OCU email address along with any address changes to the Office of Alumni Engagement.

Students who receive federal student loans are required by federal regulation to complete an exit interview/debt management session prior to graduation. This requirement may be fulfilled online at .
You will log in using your FSA ID and password. This same website is a great resource to track all of your student loans indefinitely. For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office at 405-208-5211.
Students participating in the May commencement ceremonies should check out from their campus housing no later than 5 p.m. Sunday, May 7. Requests to stay as late as Monday, May 8, will be considered on an individual basis. Students may submit a request to stay until Monday by contacting their Residence Life Coordinator by April 30. All candidates must notify their Residence Life Coordinator to stay past the normal check that they will be staying past the normal checkout time (5 p.m. Friday, May 5).

All library materials should be returned and any fines or fees paid no later than the last day of the semester. A hold will be placed on your account (including transcripts) if any materials are not returned. For more information, contact the library ([email protected]) at 405-208-5068.
It is the responsibility of campus residents to provide change of address information to all of their correspondents including both personal contacts (friends/family members) and business contacts (banks, credit card providers, magazines). The U.S. Post Office will not forward student mail, but you may provide a forwarding address to the mailroom. First class mail will be forwarded from the mailroom for six months. If no address is provided, any mail that arrives after graduation is returned to sender. For further information, contact the mail center at 405-208-5209.
Graduating students have the opportunity to evaluate OCU's programs and services. All responses are anonymous.
Graduates will receive their diploma by mail unless arrangements have been made with the registrar's office to pick it up. The diplomas will be mailed to the address listed on your Application for Graduation and Diploma.
