Symphony Orchestra

The Ò°ÀÇÉçÇø University Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Jeffrey Grogan and performs works from the traditional repertoire as well as new music. Students in the orchestra work together in a supportive learning environment to achieve inspiring results. They are regularly coached by the Bass School of Music faculty. The OCU Symphony has been honored with an ASCAP Adventurous Programming Award and represented the United States at the "Meet in Beijing" Arts Festival.

Ensemble Placement Auditions

OCU Major Ensembles (Orchestra, Wind Bands, Choirs, Jazz) are open to music majors and non-major students alike. 

Ensemble placement is dependent upon the results of ensemble placement auditions, which occur each semester in August and January. Please visit the Ensemble Placement page for more info or contact the Performance Manager, Francisco Venegas ([email protected]).
