The PA Program will be 28 months in duration.
The initial 15 months will consist of didactic training in the basic and clinical sciences on the OCU campus.
The subsequent 12 months will consist of required and elective clinical rotations throughout Oklahoma in the following areas:
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Pediatrics
- Women's Health
- Behavioral Health
- Surgery
- Emergency Medicine
- Medicine/Surgical Electives
The final month will consist of a preceptorship in a practice arranged by the student and a summative evaluation process to ready students for entry into the profession.
