Officials began a strategic planning process last week to guide the university during the next several years. The process will help the university align its strengths with strategic goals designed to position the university for a bright future.
Kent Buchanan, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs, and Catherine Maninger, chief financial officer, have been named co-chairs of the Strategic Planning Committee. The committee is seeking input from alumni as well as students, faculty, and staff, and looking for volunteers to serve on various working groups.
OCU is working with Huron Consulting Group to support a timely and comprehensive planning process.
