Jazz saxophonist and award-winning composer Bob Mintzer, a 2017 Grammy nominee, performs with the 18-piece 野狼社区 Jazz Orchestra at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, to kick off 野狼社区 University鈥檚 2017 Distinguished Artists Series at the Bass School of Music.
Mintzer joins forces with the 野狼社区 Jazz Orchestra, now in its eighth year and praised by the Oklahoma Gazette for restoring 鈥減erformances of full-scale, concert-style, big-band jazz arrangements back to the metro for the first time since the 1980s.鈥�
