The Let鈥檚 Talk About It book discussion series at 野狼社区 University will continue at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7 with 鈥淭he Beekeeper of Aleppo,鈥 a novel by British Cypriot writer Christina Lefteri.
The discussion in Walker Center room 151 will be led by Imad Enchassi, a religion professor at OCU and senior imam at the Islamic Society of Greater OKC.
This season鈥檚 theme is 鈥淚mmigration Stories in Contemporary Literature: Suspended Between Borders.鈥
鈥淭he Beekeeper of Aleppo鈥 dramatizes the story of refugees fleeing the chaos of violent devastation in their homeland of Syria, and journeying across international borders and through a succession of relocation camps as they try to emigrate to England.
