Areas of Expertise
After serving as an Oklahoma County Assistant District Attorney, Judge Parrish was in private practice for fourteen years with the firm of Derryberry, Quigley, Parrish and Solomon before his appointment as a federal administrative law judge in 1995. He is the co-editor of The Harvard Guide to Influential Books, and author of the national award-winning Cowboy Up-John Smith Leads the Legendary Oklahoma State Cowboys To Their Greatest Season Ever. He is currently working diligently on his third book!
Judge Parrish has taught, written and practiced in the areas of negotiation, mediation, dispute resolution and public diplomacy for more than 30 years. He also serves as a lead instructor for incoming federal administrative law judges, and has spoken in numerous continuing professional programs in the area judicial administration throughout his career.

Judge Parrish is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, and licensed to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Western, Eastern and Northern Districts of Oklahoma. He is also a member of the Association of Administrative Law Judges, and a life member of the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.
