Biography
Dr. Weathers is half-time, clinical faculty at Kramer School of Nursing where she enjoys teaching in the graduate and family nurse practitioner programs. She retired after many years as a labor and delivery nurse to become a family nurse practitioner in a rural private practice and currently provides care for veterans with complex, chronic medical conditions. She has been a nurse educator since 2014 and focuses on delivery of primary care across the lifespan to a diverse patient population. She is a native of southeastern Oklahoma which inspires her interest in rural health care.
