The Faculty Handbook is the governing document for the employment relationship between faculty members and the university.
The handbook is prepared by a committee led by the university provost, in cooperation with faculty members, administrators and select members of the Board of Trustees.
Contained with the handbook are sections on organization of the university, shared governance, performance of faculty duties and various other general information about roles and requirements for university faculty.
The current version of the Faculty Handbook () was approved by the Board of Trustees during the spring 2023 semester.
The handbook does not apply to university staff, who are instead bound by other university policies.
