Where did you attend college, and what type of degree did you earn?: OCU-BM/MM, University of Idaho-MFA
In what city did you grow up?: Tulsa
Why is helping students important to you?: I want to help the artists I work with on their path at this part of their journey. I try to equip them with the skills to be successful artists and good human beings.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to an incoming OCU student?: You will get out of your time here what you put into it.
What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time?: Be with my family, cook, laugh, create theatre, and tell stories.
You’re going to be stranded on a deserted island and you can only take one movie to watch. What would you take?: "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off"
Favorite flavor of ice cream?: Rocky Road
What’s something you like about working at OCU?: I love being back in the community where I received my college education.
Do you have any recent professional achievements you’d like to share?: I recently achieved a second master’s degree, a Master of Fine Arts in Directing.
What’s one country you’d love to visit, and why?: I cannot wait to visit Ireland, as I’ve been to Scotland and fell in love with the people and the scenery.

What’s your best one-sentence sales pitch for why a student should attend OCU?: Highest quality education, personal attention, and a thriving arts environment in a city with good food, good people, and lots to do!
