Where did you grow up?: Traverse City, Michigan

Years at OCU: 5, in October 2023

Where did you go to college, and what type of degree did you earn?: Adrian College: Bachelor of Music. OCU: Master of Music

Why is helping students important to you?: Helping students is important because we're inspiring the next generation. Our students have infinite possibilities ahead of them and it's our job to provide a supportive environment for them to grow and explore in.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to an incoming OCU student?: The world won't end if you don't get straight A's.

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time?: Swimming, reading, making homemade lattes, and singing.

You’re going to be stranded on a deserted island and you can only take one movie and one TV show/series to watch. What would you take?: Movie: "Howl's Moving Castle." TV Show: "The Nanny"

Favorite flavor of ice cream?: Strawberry

What’s something you like about working at OCU?: The sense of community and camaraderie. People know and care about each other on campus.

Do you have any recent professional achievements you’d like to share?: I was a winner of the North Star Award this year at OCU. I was selected by my sorority, , to be a small group facilitator at the Emma Coleman Frost Leadership Development Institute for collegiate ASA members.

What’s one country you’d love to visit, and why?: France! The dream of sipping espresso and eating a croissant on the streets of Paris is ever-present. I'm also obsessed with the art and architecture.

What’s your top-rated metro-area pizza place?: Empire! Gotta go for Figgy Star Dust.

Early riser or night owl?: Night Owl. 8 a.m. work times are rough in this house.

You’re going to attend an OCU event – do you pick music, dance, theatre or athletics, and why?: Music! I love seeing the growth of the program I was given the privilege to study in.

What’s your best one-sentence sales pitch for why a student should attend OCU?: You should attend OCU because you'll be able to make lasting connections and have individualized attention on you and your future success.
